Timber Frame Insulation

Timber Frame Building are quite adaptable to high levels of insulation at initial construction stage, generally varying levels of fibreglass insulation are used depending on stud wall / rafter depth etc.

The cavities are required to remain clear in a timber frame house therefore upgrade options for external wall insulation (in timber frame houses) are limited. Our recommendation for timber frame construction is to construct and insulate your home to the highest possible standard at construction stage.

Attic insulation upgrades for timber frame homes are the same as other methods of construction.

A wide range of fibreglass type insulation can be fitted to a new timber frame building.
