External Insulation

External Insulation is used where the homeowner has very limited options for insulating.

Ie : cavity block construction, solid wall construction or where the homeowner simply wants to enhance the u-value of the external wall for example after cavities have been pumped with bead insulation.
This will end with a new plaster finish on the exterior of the building.

Cooper Insulation can provide a complete package service for an external insulation project including all necessary remedial works to grounds at the building line/ground perimeter of the groundwork.
The maximum HES Grant available for external insulation is €3,800.
